[Rising sun] Dynasty Invasion

Paradoxalement, à devoir rester enfermé, je peins moins. J'en profite pour faire d'autres choses, comme reprendre des photos ratés. Aujourd'hui je partage le résultat de ma peinture sur l'extension Dynasty Invasion pour le jeu Rising Sun. 

J'ai toujours un souci avec les figurines de CMON et leur matière. C'est à la fois décourageant en cours de peinture de voir la tâche restant à accomplir, mais aussi, une fois terminée, très gratifiant.

Une chose est sûre je ne peindrai pas deux boites de ce jeu.

En revanche je continue à me dire que travailler uniquement en Citadel Contrast pourrait être un bon compromis pour obtenir un résultat de qualité sur ces figurines avec leurs niveaux de détails.

En attendant de me décider si j’essaie ou non cette technique sur la prochaine grosse boite ou non, je  suis en train de terminer un autre projet CMON.

Oddly enough, having to stay locked up, I paint less. However I take advantage of this to do other things, like redoing previously failed pictures. Today I share the result of my painting on the Dynasty Invasion expansion for the Rising Sun game.

I still have a problem with the CMON miniatures and their material. It's both discouraging while painting to see the task remaining to be done, but also, once finished, very rewarding.

One thing is for sure I won't paint two boxes of this game.

But I still think that working only in Citadel Contrast could be a very good compromise to get a good result on these miniatures with their level of details.

Until I decide whether or not to try this technique on the next big box, I'm already finishing another CMON project.
